W12"xH12"xD12". ● Fall 2023 ● Construct a sculpture using three or more materials that hangs from a wall or is able to sit on a surface. Incorporate 2D line concepts in three dimensions. This project was inspired by futuristic trash fires.
● Surface Research: ARTF-132-902-FA2023 ● Black ink pen and brush on paper, 24x18 inches. ● Fall 2023 ● One of three unique compositions using the previous trash fire sculpture assignment. We were to take photos and abstract the form of our work into two dimensions.
● Time Studio: ARTF 134-006 ● Digital video (1 minute 23 seconds) ● Fall 2023 ● Here we were tasked with telling the story of our first week at VCU through a image compilation. I chose to incorporate loose line continuations within my photos, as well as comedic narration.
● Time Studio: ARTF 134-006 ● Digital video (1 minute 22 seconds) ● Fall 2023 ● We were tasked with creating a stop motion animation, with an animation time of 30 seconds to one minute. I storyboarded a short story of a chess end game where the kings are secretly in love, with one sacrificing themselves for the other.
